Emergence is a follow up to Professor Cox’s previous production of Horizons which was seen by almost half a million people around the world in 22 countries and was a huge success. The Emergence Tour will be visiting numerous countries around the world, including the UK & Ireland, Europe, Asia Pacific, USA, and Canada.
Born on 3rd March 1968 in England, Brian Edward Cox is an English physicist and a former musician. He is currently Professor of Particle Physics at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Manchester University. Before he delved into the world of physics, he was the keyboardist for the rock and pop band D:Ream. Cox has recently rejoined the band to play at the Glastonbury Festival where they played their hit “Things Can Only Get Better”. Cox has a lot of talents, he used to be the keyboardist in a rock and pop band (D:Ream) before he got into science. Now he has an even larger audience with whom he wants to share his views on physics. “We are the cosmos made conscious, and life is the means by which the universe understands itself”.
This is a historical venue located in the heart of downtown San Antonio, which has been fully restored to its original elegance. The theater has a Grand Ballroom with 25 foot ceilings, a stage, a dance floor, and a 250 seat restaurant, The Pearl, which serves up a mix of Latin-inspired and upscale cuisine. The venue hosts a wide variety of productions including concerts, theater productions, comedy acts, social dancing, and lectures.
