Through their many years as a band, The Cult has certainly been through a lot, and I’m not just talking about their various name changes. The band has undergone many shifts and changes over the years, whether it be their image, name, or even genre. They started out playing in the same vein as many post-punk and gothic rock bands at the time, but eventually, their sound shifted with the times and they developed a more commercial hard rock sound. 

Now, the band is getting together once again for one long stretch of North American tour dates where they’ll be visiting old tunes just as much as they’ll be replaying the new ones. This tour is all about celebrating every single era The Cult has been through. So if you’re a long-time fan, you better buckle up!
